Netflix series Beef has received eight Emmy awards and won Best Miniseries at the Golden Globes, among its many other awards during the 2024 awards season. Netflix’s official script reads: “A road rage incident between two strangers—a failed contractor and a failed entrepreneur—ignites a fight that brings out their darkest impulses.” Danny and Amy are both people who are very ashamed of the dark parts of their souls and they try to hide it from the people they love.
