New Approach to Burberry Check Pattern

Burberry introduces the Burberry Classics collection, where it redefines the basics of the wardrobe. Basic styles, including T-shirts, suits and various product groups, are enriched with the brand’s signature codes.

The Burberry check pattern is updated with sand and stone colors, bringing a confident new approach to iconic British design. It is applied to swimsuits, jackets, bottom clothing groups, canvas shirt dresses and custom-made poplin shirts. The Equestrian Knight design (EKD) also proudly appears on jackets, polo shirts, hoodies, t-shirts and tracksuit bottoms through embroidery and appliqués.

The first series of Burberry Classics, whose main material contains at least seventy percent organic or fifty percent recycled materials, is included in the ReBurberry program, an initiative community that demonstrates Burberry’s commitment to transformation. Initiatives are grouped under three main headings: products, packaging and services.

Products are designed using certified sourced materials, with a focus on innovation and reducing Burberry’s environmental impact. Plastic-free packaging reinforces the idea that there is a new standard of sustainable luxury.

Burberry offers a cyclical service to extend the life of its products and ensure they can be enjoyed for longer. These include a range of refurbishment, repair and upcycling services, as well as rental and resale initiatives that Burberry launched last year in collaboration with My Wardrobe HQ and Vestiaire Collective respectively.

The shooting of the campaign starring Iris Law and Quinn Kirwan took place in London.

Burberry Classics, created under the leadership of Creative Director Daniel Lee, will be available in stores and on from March 2024.
